BUGS, BIRDS AND WD 40 OH MY

Published by scothwarner at 6:46 pm under 1 Edit This

Bugs and bird droppings on your paint of the RV, grillwork and windshield.  To get rid of them try this method.  Soak the area with non stick cooking spray, let it soak for 10 minutes then wash as usual.

To remove salt fro the road onthe painted metal exterior of your RV wash with a solution of baking soda and warrm water.  For heavier stains make a baking soda paste and rub it on with a damp rag or sponge.  Then rinse well.  It’s best to wash vehicles on cloudy days or in the shade. I say to use warm water because I read that hot water bleaches the paint.

WD-40  serves as a substitute for commerial bug and tar remover on oily road build up that builds up on the lower panels of your RV.

To make your tires look pretty scrub them clean then apply self polishing floor wax.

A child’s wax crayon close to the same color, makes an effective touch up for your paint.  Rub crayon over the scratch then buff smooth.
