TIPS ON GETTING THE BEST CAMPSITE
Here is some help in selecting a campsite so you can have an enjoyable camping experience.
-if you arrived at an unfamiliar campground ask the host for a detailed map and take a quick trip around the campground and make a list of possible campsites.
-Always arrive early. The best sites are the first to be taken.
-camp at least 200 to 300 feet away from water.
-set up camp away from other campers and from any trails.
- don’t try to take a site with somebodies personal property on it.
-if you like to wake up in a warm location set up camp under the morning sun.
-avoid setting up camp in a tall grassy area. All that is, is an insect haven.
-never camp at the base of a cliff with loose rocks.
-stay away from areas with poison ivy; learn your plants.
-make sure your site is large enough for you.
-think what would
-happen to your site if a storm would happen.
